Tips & Ideas
This is a pretty good deal seeing as it’s a 30% discount. You can buy a $50 gift card in-restaurant to lock in the discount/reward.
California Pizza Kitchen is also running a promo card offer at the moment that’ll stack nicely with this Amex Offer. You’ll get a $30 promo card when buying $100 of gift cards before November 20 or a $20 promo card when buying $100 of gift cards from November 21 to December 31.
If you load each version of the Amex Offer to separate cards, you could buy $100 of gift cards in-restaurant. If you do that before November 30, you’d get a $100 gift card, $30 promo card and 1,500 Membership Rewards for a net cost of $85 which is excellent value if you’ll be eating at CPK anyway.
Sam’s Club was just selling California Pizza Kitchen gift cards for 30% off, so there’s a good chance the resale market will be flooded for a little while.
