The terms state that eGift card purchases are excluded. That’s because digital gift card orders are processed by CashStar. You can order physical gift cards though as payments are processed by MAC Cosmetics themselves and so will trigger this Amex Offer.
Saving 20% on a $75 gift card is a decent discount, while the 1,500 Membership Rewards offer is even better so long as you value those at more than 1 cpp (cent per point).
