It looks like you could buy a $100 gift card and pay with two separate cards. If you’re planning on reselling the cards though, make sure $100 denominations are accepted, otherwise just buy 2x $50 J. Crew gift cards.
When trying to place an order, I kept getting some kind of 500 error message. I was using a different credit card than the ones I’d used on past orders. I found though that adding the new card to my payment methods before checking out meant I could get the order through without the error message.
My wife and I only had a statement credit version of the offer on our Amex cards, but there might be a targeted 1,000 Membership Rewards version floating around.
