Tips & Ideas
The terms specifically exclude gift card purchases, but that shouldn’t be the case if you buy them from the front desk of a Hyatt Place or Hyatt House. You should therefore be able to buy a $300 gift card and get the $50 statement credit.
It needs to be a physical gift card though rather than an eGift card. Hyatt’s eGift cards are processed by Buyatab and so don’t trigger Amex Offers or these kinds of statement credits.
