Tips & Ideas
First up, I just want to say that I’m assuming this’ll work, but I haven’t actually tested it for myself.
Buying a $100 Total Wine gift card in-store will definitely trigger the Amex Offer – I did that twice with the last Total Wine Amex Offer and got $20 back and 2,000 Membership Rewards on two separate cards.
The part I’m not 100% sure about is the Groupon+ deal. There’s nothing in the exclusions saying that gift card purchases are excluded, so it should work provided you spend $100 or more in one transaction.
The link I’ve provided above is for the Total Wine deal in Virginia. If you live in a different state where they have stores, doing a search for ‘Total Wine’ in Groupon’s search bar will hopefully provide a deal that’s local to you. For example, here’s California’s version.
