Update: Bitmo appears to have fixed this error as they’re now issuing $15 cards. The $5 card is still appearing in my account, so that appears to be a bonus.
~
Warning: Bitmo is issuing $5 cards rather than $15 cards right now. They’ve been good about fixing errors like these in the past, but be aware of that. If you decide to do this deal and then contact them to get them to fix it, don’t view the $5 card yet.
I’ve already contacted them about it, so I’ll update this post once I hear back from them.

Tips & Ideas
This deal works out to be a 13.04% discount on $115 worth of Home Depot gift cards. That’s a fantastic discount for Home Depot and about as good as it gets outside of opportunities to save on any type of gift card.
There are several things to note with this promotion. First, it’s only open to BitmoPerks members; that’s free to join, but you’ll need to take the necessary steps to do that.
Second, some Bitmo promotions allow you to swap the gift card brand that you’ve bought for one which has higher value; that’s sadly not the case with this latest promo.
Third, when entering the promo code, it’ll show up as -$0 value rather than $15 or $15. Don’t worry about that – so long as it shows the HDBONUS2020 promo code being applied, you’re good to go. Having said that, it doesn’t hurt to take a screenshot as evidence.
Fourth, you can pay with PayPal, so the Chase Freedom card is a good option seeing as that’s earning 5% this quarter.
Finally, the $15 bonus gift card should show up about one minute after completing the transaction, so don’t worry if it doesn’t immediately show in your wallet.
