Cabela’s gift cards frequently go on sale for 20%, so 10% off isn’t that great. REI gift cards don’t tend to get discounted so much, so that’s the better option here.

I just tested this with today’s code and unfortunately it doesn’t work.

I think they still do when using one of their generic promo codes. Seeing as this one was only valid on a couple of specific brands, it looks like they’ve closed that potential loophole, but I thought the same as you before.
