Update 2: Bitmo has advised that the correct promo code is LOWESBONUS2020. I’ve just used it and can confirm that the promotion is working now.

Update: When using the LOWES2020 promo code, it’s currently saying “This promotion has ended”. That happened with another deal recently; after an hour or two of it going live, the promo code started working, so that’ll hopefully happen here.

This deal works out to be a 20% discount on $25 worth of Lowe’s gift cards. That’s an excellent deal which will be profitable for reselling; it’s a shame the offer isn’t valid on a higher denomination, but it’s still better than nothing.

There are several things to note with this promotion. First, it’s only open to BitmoPerks members; that’s free to join, but you’ll need to take the necessary steps to do that.

Second, some Bitmo promotions allow you to swap the gift card brand that you’ve bought for one which has higher value; that’s sadly not the case with this latest promo.

Third, when entering the promo code, it’ll show up as -$0 value rather than $5 or $25. Don’t worry about that – so long as it shows the LOWESBONUS2020 promo code being applied, you’re good to go. Having said that, it doesn’t hurt to take a screenshot as evidence.

Fourth, you can pay with PayPal, so the Chase Freedom card is a good option seeing as that’s earning 5% this quarter.

Finally, the $5 bonus gift card should show up about one minute after completing the transaction, so don’t worry if it doesn’t immediately show in your wallet.
