Getting 20% off $25 worth of Express gift cards is a pretty good offer, but note that it comes as a $20 card and $5 card rather than a $25 card. In addition to the 20% discount, you’ll earn 55x Perk Points which is worth 5.5% towards a future gift card purchase. That’s calculated based on the $20 of spend rather than the total $25 in value, so you’re getting points worth $1.10.
There are several things to note with this promotion. First, it’s only open to BitmoPerks members; that’s free to join, but you’ll need to take the necessary steps to do that.
Second, some Bitmo promotions allow you to swap the gift card brand that you’ve bought for one which has higher value; that’s sadly not the case with this latest promo.
Third, when entering the promo code, it’ll show up as -$0 value rather than $5 or $25. Don’t worry about that – so long as it shows the EXPBONUS5 promo code being applied, you’re good to go. Having said that, it doesn’t hurt to take a screenshot as evidence.
