This deal requires a unique promo code rather than a generic one. To activate the offer in your account, tap the ‘Activity’ tab at the bottom of the app and scroll down until you see the image at the top of this post. Tapping on that will filter for Airbnb gift cards, so select the $100 denomination.
You should then see a random mix of letters entered in the promo code box, with a message below saying ‘Your 7,000 bonus points will be added after your payment is processed.’ On top of the 7,000 points, you’ll earn 25x Perk Points per dollar as standard, so that’s an extra 2,500 points.
That means you’ll end up with 9,500 Perk Points which can be redeemed for $9.50 off a future purchase in the app. While that’s not likely to be of much interest for reselling, Airbnb gift cards don’t go on sale very often and so this can be a decent reward for personal use.
