This offer might be targeted. I got a notification on my phone that Bitmo had given me a $5 card for free, so I opened the app to find a CVS card. However, it’s a promotional card rather than a gift card which means it expires on November 12, 2020. That’s still a nice freebie if you’re planning on visiting CVS in the next couple of weeks, but it means it can’t be resold or saved for use beyond that date.
My wife has Bitmo notifications turned off on her phone, so I opened the app and found a $5 CVS card in her wallet too. I figured I could split tender at a CVS, so I swiped the ‘Use Card’ button so that I could screenshot the card details and barcode to text it to myself. Doing that started a countdown, so it looks like you only have 23 hours to use the CVS bonus card once you’ve swiped ‘Use Card’, so best to wait until you actually want to use it before doing that.
