100 points earned at these grocery stores can be used to save $1 on groceries or 5c off per gallon on up to 20 gallons at Shell gas stations.
Every $100 spent on gift cards will therefore earn you 600 points. Those can save you $6 on groceries or 30c off per gallon which has maximum savings of $6. If you can’t fill up to the full 20 gallon limit, you’re better off using the savings on groceries.
Saving 6% isn’t very exciting, although it might make Amazon gift cards break even or slightly profitable for reselling. You can save even more by paying with a card that earns more at grocery stores.

Every 2 dollar earns 1 point at bi-lo. So 100 dollar spent earns 50 points and not 100.
That might be the case normally, but this promotion states that you’ll earn 6x in gift cards. If $2 only earned 1 point with this promotion, you’d only end up with 50 points per $100 spent rather than 600 points.
