Tips & Ideas
This is a fantastic offer which is sadly only available for personal Platinum cardholders. The final term listed above appears to be enforced as I had this offer on my Schwab Platinum card which I’ve had for more than a year, but my recently opened vanilla Platinum card (from the 100k offer) didn’t have it available as that card was opened after November 1.
The terms exclude eGift cards, but that will only apply to Best Buy eGift cards as those are processed by CashStar. Best Buy sells many third party eGift cards (including Amazon) and those should all trigger the statement credit as payment is processed by BestBuy.com. Alternatively, you could buy a physical Best Buy gift card as payments for those are processed by Best Buy too.
If you have a personal Platinum card, I’d add this to your card ASAP seeing as enrollment is limited. Also note that you can do this deal twice for a total of $100 worth of free stuff.
They don’t sell Amazon eGift cards anymore (only physical).
And the physical is only available for pickup in store only.
You’re right. Not sure why I included Amazon in the eGift card section as I knew they only sold physical cards. I’d missed that those can’t be mailed to you though – thanks!
