Tips & Ideas
I love these Best Buy Amex Offers as it’s an easy way to make a few bucks in profit, earn Best Buy Rewards and rack up some credit card rewards. It looks like it might be targeted at Membership Rewards-earning cards only, as I didn’t find it on any Hilton, Delta, etc. Amex cards.
Best Buy started selling Amazon gift cards again last year, so if your local store has those then that’ll likely be the most profitable reselling play if you’re not planning on using the offer for personal use.
There was an Amex Offer earlier this year offering a bonus point at Best Buy, so it’d be worth loading this offer to the same card if possible.
You’ll also earn Best Buy Rewards – even on gift card purchases – making this deal even sweeter.
The terms exclude eGift card purchases; that’s because CashStar process Best Buy eGift card purchases. You should be able to buy third party eGift cards from the Best Buy website though. Also, don’t worry about the corporate gift card exclusion if you’re just buying regular gift cards.
Don’t forget that although you can’t load the same Amex Offer to multiple cards anymore, you can load one version of a statement credit offer and one version of a Membership Rewards offer.
