Tips & Ideas

I wrote about a couple of different Barnes & Noble gift card deals the other day and mentioned waiting until an offer like this was launched so that you could stack them. What I hadn’t done was check if Barnes & Noble was already running this deal, so thanks to EW for sharing that it’s already available.

Getting $100 + $10 gift cards for $100 isn’t the greatest deal in and of itself, but it can get better when stacking with up to three other deals. One is from Bitmo and requires that you activate the offer in the app and pay with a linked card. The second is from SimplyMiles and offers bonus American Airlines AAdvantage miles when activating the offer and paying with a linked Mastercard. The third is a targeted Citi Offer giving $10 back when spending $30.

If you stack all four deals, for a $100 outlay you’ll receive the following:

• $100 Barnes & Noble gift card
• $10 Barnes & Noble gift card
• 10,000 Perk Points (worth $10) from Bitmo
• $10 statement credit from Citi Offer
• 465 AAdvantage miles

Note that the terms for this Barnes & Noble offer are slightly different depending on if you buy it online or in-store. With in-store purchases the offer ends on November 21 and you get the $10 gift card immediately. However, I don’t know if that prints on the receipt or if you have to add a $10 card to your basket at the same time. With online purchases, you get an extra day to take advantage of the deal as it expires on November 22, but you have to wait until December 10 to get the $10 card.
