This is an excellent offer because many Chase Offers are for 10%, so getting 20% back at Banana Republic is great.
With a limit of $24 back, you’ll max this out when spending $120. eGift card purchases won’t work as they’re processed by CashStar, but buying a gift card in-store means you can lock in the discount.
If going that route, keep an eye out to see if your local Banana Republic has a third party gift card rack. I’ve seen them at Old Navy before, but I don’t shop at Banana Republic and so don’t know if they have something similar. If they do, you could buy any gift card available from that rack in order to trigger the statement credit from this offer.
For in-store purchases, be sure to link your card with a card-linked program. For example, both the Rakuten and Alaska Airlines shopping portals offer cashback/miles when paying with a linked card at Banana Republic.
