Tips & Ideas
Spending $100 offers the best return on a per-dollar basis seeing as that’ll earn you 5x bonus miles per dollar versus 3.33x bonus miles when spending exactly $300. $300 isn’t a particularly high spending requirement though, so it won’t be hard for some people to hit that threshold.
Gift card purchases are listed as being excluded, but buying from Giftcards.com and Raise should track and thus will be eligible for this promotion. At the time of publishing this post, the American Airlines shopping portal is offering 3x for Giftcards.com purchases, so spending exactly $300 there will earn you 1,900 bonus miles.
Be aware that with the AA shopping portal you’ll only earn Loyalty Points based on your base earnings – the 500 or 1,000 bonus miles you earn from this spending promotion won’t earn an equivalent number of Loyalty Points.
Odds that buying lowes GC from bestbuy.com tracks for this?
Unlikely, but it’s always worth clicking through from a portal anyway in case it works.
