Tips & Ideas
This offer can be used to save $10 on $30+ of third party gift cards, although it can’t be used to buy Amazon gift cards.
If you’ve never registered for the ‘Pay with Cashback Bonus’ program, do that using the first link listed above. Once that’s done, click the second link to activate this promotion – this will hopefully be what you see:
Click the ‘Click to Activate’ button and you should be all set. If you’ve only just enrolled in ‘Pay with Cashback Bonus’, you might need to wait a few days to receive an email from Amazon confirming that you’re enrolled. Once you’ve received that email, try clicking that second link again and it should (hopefully) work.
If you registered for ‘Pay with Cashback Bonus’ a while ago – perhaps for a similar offer – delete your Discover card(s) from your payment methods. Add them back on, then re-enroll in ‘Pay with Cashback Bonus’. Once again, you might have to wait a few days to receive confirmation from Amazon before you’re able to activate the offer.
Once that’s done, add $30+ of gift cards (or merchandise if you prefer) and add to your cart – DON’T CHECK OUT USING 1-CLICK. That’s because when checking out, it’ll default to paying for the entire order with your Discover cashback if you have enough available.
That’s not an optimal use of Discover cashback, so change the $20.00 amount that’s been applied (or however much is applied based on the value of the gift card you’re buying) to $0.01. If you have Amazon gift cards already loaded to your account, you can use those to pay for the balance of your order.
Amazon sells several eGift cards where you can choose to buy them in $30 denominations. They also sell a wide variety of physical gift cards, although you might need to buy a $50 denomination for those as they’re often sold in $25/$50/$100 denominations.
