Tips & Ideas
It’s not clear what kind of discount Amazon will be giving on these cards. Their Gold Box Deals are usually discounted to $40, but for Black Friday a lot of the deals were discounted to $39 or $39.50. I suspect we’ll see a return of the $39 or $39.50 pricing, but we won’t know until the deals go live.
Speaking of the deals going live, I’m surprised that they’re starting at 6:40am ET – that sucks for people on the west coast. Note that those times are based on you having a Prime subscription; if you don’t, the deals will likely go live 30 minutes later.
Ordinarily I’d expect the iTunes gift cards to be sold out within seconds, but for Black Friday they didn’t sell out at all, despite being discounted by 20%. I imagine it would’ve been a popular deal, so Amazon must’ve had a large amount of them available at that price.
