Tips & Ideas
Getting $10 back when spending $100 on Amazon is easy money; even better is that the Amex Offer can be used twice for a total of $20 back in statement credits.
Note that although the terms exclude corporate gift card and custom-designed gift card purchases, buying regular gift cards will trigger this Amazon Amex Offer. You could buy $200 worth of Amazon gift cards, reload your Amazon gift card balance or buy third party gift cards like Best Buy. Both physical and digital gift card purchases will work too.
This Amazon Amex Offer appears to be targeted because although both my wife and I were able to add it, we only had it available to load on our Hilton Surpass credit cards where we’re the primary cardholders. I’m therefore not sure if only primary Surpass cards are being targeted (it wasn’t on our Surpass authorized user cards) or if this is just a coincidence. It works out well though as we still need to put some spend on my wife’s Surpass card for the free night certificate this year, so this offer will get us $180 closer.
