This Advance Auto Parts Amex Offer only seems to show up when logging in to your account in a couple of ways. Both my wife and I have this offer on our cards, but it doesn’t show up when logging in directly at americanexpress.com. It did show up though when logging in via the Amex app and using the old login interface.
Physical gift cards purchased online are excluded as the transaction is processed by SVM rather than Advance Auto Parts themselves. You can purchase a $50 gift card in-store though in order to lock in the 20% discount.
