This is an excellent deal as you can’t normally get 40% off Bass Pro Shops gift cards. With only 100 discounted cards available, this will probably sell out quickly.
IMO, this new iteration of AARP Rewards deals is far better than their old offering. In the past they’d offer free $5 gift cards in exchange for something like 50 or 500 points. The problem was that they’d go out of stock in literally 1 second, so there was no way to ever get them (I’m assuming people used some kind of sniping tool to get them, but I’m not certain about that).
In the short amount of time I’ve been following these new Daily Deals, there’s a much better chance of getting them despite there being a limit of only 100 per day. I think they go live around midday on weekdays and they last a little while. I ended up publishing this post at 12:18 and it was still around. I then had time to finish registering my wife for AARP Rewards and bought three under her account, so it was probably 12:25 by that point.
Having an opportunity to buy 3x Bass Pro Shops gift cards for 40% off almost half an hour after the deal goes live is better than many deals. The best deals at GiftCardMall, MyGiftCardsPlus, PPDG, etc. tend to sell out in minutes and they usually aren’t anywhere near as profitable as today’s AARP Rewards Daily Deal.
The best thing to do is check AARP Rewards at midday each weekday. Sometimes the deal gets loaded a little late, so you might need to refresh your page, but that’ll hopefully ensure you get in on these deals. I always publish them as soon as I can, but heading there at midday should be safer than waiting for my post.
