Tips & Ideas
This is a pretty decent offer as the $200 cards usually come with a $6.95 activation fee. Pay with a Chase Ink Plus or Ink Cash card to earn 5x/5% on the purchase. Alternatively, use a card that has the Staples Amex Offer or Chase Offer loaded to it.
Interestingly, there’s no limit mentioned in the weekly ad, so it should hopefully be possible to buy as many as you like without encountering any issues. I think it’s possible to buy more than one card per transaction and have the activation fee waived; if so, that’s certainly be more convenient that having to pay for them in separate transactions.

The last couple of times they did this (with Visa, I think), the limit of 1 was coded into the POS system, so even if you bought more than one per transaction, the discount only came off of one card.
