- Offer valid only on purchases made in US dollars.
Tips & Ideas
Gift card purchases are listed as being excluded, but it’s very doubtful that Amex will enforce that in any way. Still, it might be best not to spend exactly $200 when taking advantage of this offer if you’re planning on using it to buy gift cards.
Other offer variants are also out there. We got: “Earn a $5 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $30 in one or more purchases in-store or online at a U.S. supermarket by 12/31/2024. Limit of 4 statement credits (total of $20).”
