Tips & Ideas
On a $500 card, a 2% discount will take $10 off which more than covers the purchase fee on the card.
I’m not sure if there are any limits on this deal, but it’d be nice if there aren’t. Update: Mur has helpfully highlighted in the comments that Gift Card Granny has a limit of $2,500 per order and that same limit on a 7 day period. That’s a shame, but it might be possible to order more on a different household account.
Note that this deal is only valid on Black Friday, so I’ll republish this post then as a reminder.
Click through from a shopping portal in case the purchase tracks – here are the current rates.
@Stephen…looks like the $10 off would cover all fees and shipping for physical gcs, making this slightly profitable. Are these Sutton cards?
It looks like it, yes
I’m new here, but I see a $2500 limit on these on a rolling 7-day basis. Would that be the limit on the deal?
I guess so – whereabouts are you seeing the limit of $2,500 per order being applied on a rolling 7 day basis? I had a quick look at the FAQs and didn’t see that listed there, but I didn’t delve too deeply into them.
I placed some test orders in preparation for this deal and received an error message mentioning a $2500 limit. Didn’t see it anywhere else..
It’s here:
Awesome, thank you! I’ll update the post.
Heads up I’m only seeing $10 back on $500+ in gift cards.
These are the terms I’m seeing on the website.
“Valid on 2% off on Visa and Mastercard Build-a-Card gift card purchases. Limit 1 per customer. Valid 11/24/2023. *Only valid for gift card purchases. Reward cards and bulk purchases not applicable.”
I’d like to hear if anyone tries this and sees the discount per card and not only one card.
