Tips & Ideas
This is a great offer that’ll be profitable for reselling. You can buy a digital or physical Kohl’s gift card to lock in the 20% discount. If buying an eGift card, note that Kohl’s sells eGift cards in two places – one on their website and one which is processed by CashStar. In order for the statement credit from the Chase Offer to be triggered, you’ll need to buy it from their website itself – here’s the link to the page.
If buying online, it’d be worth clicking through from a shopping portal in case the purchase tracks – here are the current rates.
It’s been some time since I last went in a Kohl’s store, but I think they used to have some kind of third party gift card rack. If that’s the case, there might be even more profitable gift card brands that would be a better choice for in-store purchases. Update: Ashley has confirmed that Kohl’s does indeed have a third party gift card rack in-store. That includes gift cards for brands including Best Buy, Amazon and more, so if you’re planning to use this Chase Offer in-store, buying one of those would be better than Kohl’s for most people unless you’re buying it for personal use.

They do have third party cards in store. I was there yesterday. They have Amazon among others.
Adam. Thanks for the info.
Adam, were the Amazon gift cards at Kohl’s from BHN (says “GiftCardMall” on the back) or INCOMM (says “FastCard” on the back)? Also, which denomination(s) did they have?
Decided to be my own DP and stopped by Kohl’s. The rack is stocked by BHN. $100 denomination Amazon cards were in stock.
link is broken to buy online
I’ve changed the link, so hopefully that works now.
Saw this offer again on a couple of my cards.
had it on six of ours, 2nd time around too….. (incl ink’s, csr, united, even my chase bz bank debit card. Ho, ho, ho. Might actually keep that United card again…. while dumping underwhelming, never-see-promotions on the AA cards/Citi….. bleh.
