Tips & Ideas
This is a nice deal as it stacks with the cashback earned from both Slide and a shopping portal. If you preload Slide with $90, you’ll earn $0.90 cashback if doing that via credit card or PayPal, or $1.80 cashback if preloading by debit card. You’ll then earn $3.60 from Slide on the purchase due to the 4% cashback they offer as well as $3.60 cashback from a shopping portal if they’re offering 4%.
That means you’re getting a $100 gift card for a net cost of $81.90 if preloading with a credit card or $81 if preloading with a debit card. That’s a discount of 18.1% or 19% respectively which is a great discount.
A couple of things to note. The $10 discount should work with Slide Selects gift card brands (e.g. Newegg, Macy’s, etc.) but you won’t earn 4% cashback from Slide on those. Also, a handful of gift card brands sold by Slide now only earn 2% cashback on shopping portals, so be aware of that change.
