Provided this does work on gift cards, that could be a great deal on Vanilla Visa gift cards and high value brands like Amazon. Buying a $500 gift card would earn you 20,000 Speedy Rewards points which is worth ~$20 depending on how you redeem the points. That more than offsets the purchase fee on Vanilla Visa gift cards even before accounting for all the points you’ll earn by paying with a card that earns more at gas stations. Just be sure to remember to scan the app when checking out rather than entering your phone number.
