Tips & Ideas
In case you’re not familiar with it, SimplyMiles is a card-linked program that offers American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles when paying with a linked Mastercard.
They offered this deal a lot during 2020 and the early part of 2021, but it’s been almost 9 months since the last time they offered rewards on spending at CVS, so this is a welcome return.
Gift card purchases are excluded, but I don’t think that’s necessarily been enforced before. You can stack this with the CVS Chase Offer if you have that on a Mastercard and/or the Fetch Rewards offer if you’re targeted for either of those promotions, as well as CVS’s usual weekly gift card deal.
Note that the number of bonus miles you’ll earn is targeted. I only have 250 miles showing on my account whereas my wife is targeted for 1,500 miles. I think previous offers maxed out at 1,000 miles, so it’s great that there’s an even higher reward for some members.
