This is a 20% discount which is a great offer considering how many gift card brands Slide sells. It’s made even better by the fact that you can earn up to 6% cashback in the app, plus you can click through from a portal to earn 3%+ cashback.
It looks like the $10 discount even works on Slide Selects brands like Home Depot and Nike, although note that you wouldn’t earn the 4% cashback that you get on most other brands when buying them in the app.
I signed up for Slide and Maxrebates through your referral link. I’m not sure how to use maxrebates on slide. When I go to maxrebates and click their slide link it takes me to their website and asks me to download their app. I already have the app downloaded. How do I make sure my slide purchase registers with maxrebates?
I don’t know how it works on Apple, but I think on Android you need to have the app set to open automatically when you click on a Slide link.
To do that, go to Settings > Apps > See all apps > Slide > Open by default. Then turn on ‘Open Supported Links’. The next time you click through from MaxRebates, it’ll hopefully automatically open the Slide app.

My $10 discount does not show available tonight. Have not used it yet, no idea why it isn’t working.
I received the $10 offer email, but I just checked, and I don’t see anything about it in the app. I tried several card brands and no discount showed up for any of them.
Same here. This combined with their refunding a gift card purchase the other day and voiding a TopCashback bonus connected to the purchase are very frustrating.
I had a problem with their app. It let me load money from my debit card into the app then when I went to spend it I couldn’t and it said to call customer service. I called the number they provided and it said they were busy and to push a number and leave a voicemail. When I did it said I could only leave a voicemail if I knew the extension. WTF???? I was given no extension. No my money is trapped on their app. If this wasn’t backed by raise I would be sure this app was a scam.
That’s a frustrating experience, but I’ve found them to have very good customer service, so when you get through to someone I’m sure they’ll get it promptly resolved.
