It’s nice timing having the 4x fuel points digital coupon available at the start of the month as it means you’ll have up to 8 weeks to use them seeing as they don’t expire until June 30.
As always, this offer means you can save up to 14% on third party gift cards. That’s because Kroger fuel points are good on up to 35 gallons. If you spent $250 on gift cards, you’d earn 1,000 fuel points which are worth $1 off per gallon. Fill up to the 35 gallon limit and you’ll save $35. Based on the original $250 of spend, that’s how you get the savings of 14% (35 / 250 = 0.14).
By paying with a credit card that earns more at grocery stores, you can get savings/earn rewards worth in excess of 20%. That’s excellent, especially for gift card brands like Amazon.
