(EXPIRED) Dollar General: Buy $50 Apple Gift Card & Get $10 DoorDash Gift Card Free (Ends 10/9/21)

Update 9/26/21: My initial suspicions have turned out to be correct. You get a code on the receipt which you enter at the link below – you then get a $10 DoorDash gift card. My error: There’s no code to enter on the website other than the Apple card number. The DoorDash gift card doesn’t expire, but it does have to be claimed by October 23. You also have to buy a $50 fixed-value Apple gift card – buying 2x $25 cards or a variable load card won’t work. Thanks to Andy in the comments for confirming all these details.

Depending on how this deal works, it could be a great offer. The weekly ad refers to the $10 DoorDash card as being a bonus code which has to be redeemed by October 23. If that’s because it’s a bonus card rather than a gift card, that’s not as interesting because it’ll mean the DoorDash card can’t be resold.

I suspect though that that’s not how this promo will work. My guess is that when you buy a $50 Apple gift card, you’ll get a code on the receipt. You’ll enter the code online and you’ll get a $10 DoorDash gift card that won’t expire. I’m guessing that you have to redeem that code by October 23 in order to get the $10 gift card, but that the $10 DoorDash gift card won’t expire, similar to how Speedway/Uber deals have worked before.
