Tips & Ideas
Discounts on Costco memberships aren’t as common as discounts on memberships for Sam’s Club and BJ’s Wholesale Club, so getting 16.67% back on a Gold Star membership is a decent deal.
It might be possible to stack this with other offers. For example, you can get $20 cashback when buying a membership after clicking through from Home Place Rewards (see this post for more details). Link your Chase card with this Costco offer on it in the Dosh app because they’d offered cashback in the past (I’m not sure if they still are as I redeemed that offer). Bitmo offers 1x Perk Points (i.e. 0.1%) back at Costco when paying with a linked card too.
Be aware that the terms state that it’s not stackable with other offers; whether that’s enforced or not is another matter though.

Dosh offer is $20, in-store or online. Unfortunately the MPX Visa Rewards offer has not returned for me, and I didn’t get the Chase offer either.
