Had been doing well enough with this incredibly awful AARP web site…. If you don’t login (fresh, not stale) five or more minutes before 12 on days with a good deal like this one, and make sure your cart is empty of any previous failed purchase attempts, THEN and only then do you have a slight snowball’s chance of getting a good deal like this. Got it into my cart this time, but then the miserable system kept wanting to verify my account…. did so 3 times, til the last time it mindless says (at 12:06) item no longer available.
of course, now it says, “We’re working to get more inventory
This item is currently out of stock.” Snowball’s chance that they actually mean it. Still feels like a “citi-deals” racket.
