Online gift card purchases are excluded because H&M doesn’t process payment for them. However, you can buy a $100 H&M gift card in-store to lock in the maximum discount.
You can stack this with cashback from both Dosh and Rakuten if you link your Amex card to both programs. Rakuten sometimes boosts their rate to 10%/10x, so it might be worth holding off on buying for now until that rate returns.
