Tips & Ideas
This appears to be a targeted offer as my wife had it on at least one of her cards, but I didn’t have it on any of mine. With a limit of 2,000 bonus points, you’ll max this out when spending $285.71. Those 7x points are on top of what you’ll already earn, so if you get this on a Blue Business Plus card then you’ll be earning a total of 9x Membership Rewards which is a great deal.
Note that this offer is only valid on purchases from BestBuy.com – not in-store. It lists eGift card purchases as being excluded, but I think that’s only referring to Best Buy eGift cards because payment for those is processed by CashStar. Best Buy sells a wide variety of third party gift cards online, so buying those should work to trigger the 7x bonus points, as will ordering a physical Best Buy gift card online because Best Buy processed physical gift card orders themselves.
