AARP Rewards offers some great gift card deals, particularly with their Daily Deals which run Monday-Friday. Although you don’t need a membership to take advantage of the Daily Deals, there are some other gift card deals they run which require a membership in order to buy them.
Reader EW confirmed in the past that this offer works when buying gift cards from AARP Rewards. Seeing as you can take part in the Daily Deals with no membership, that could be a better use of this AARP Chase Offer if you don’t want to pay for an AARP membership.
The backend that Chase Offers runs on is also used by other banks for their own programs, like Bank of America’s BankAmeriDeals. You might have this offer on one of those cards which might also be a Mastercard.

Such a bummer that only MasterCards can be enrolled now. But I do have this on my recently converted Flex card! So if anyone has it on a Freedom, you can always convert to a Flex, LOL!
I called in and changed my payment methods (From Amex to Chase) for the membership which I only purchased last month. YMMV.
