Got this on a Wells Fargo card earning 15%. Should stack
How can it stack moron wells fargo is different from Chase
There’s no need to be rude to other readers, especially when they’re correct. Chase Offers are run by Cardlytics on the backend which offers similar programs to Wells Fargo, Bank of America and more. There’s a separate spending offer on some Wells Fargo cards giving 15% cashback at restaurants and grocery stores, so they’d be able to earn 15% cashback on that card along with a 10% statement credit from this offer.
The point of stacking means this…Having a chase freedom card and purchasing a $50 dominoes gift card for $40 at HEB and getting 5 percent on quarterly bonus. That’s stacking. The above example is not. And yes I am sorry for being rude.
Stacking is taking advantage of 2+ deals at the same time. If they’re earning 15% cashback from a different offer at the same time as getting 10% back from this offer, that’s stacking.
Again it’s not. If you are earning 15 percent cash back on wells Fargo, which is $4.50 on a $30 purchase, there is no way you can get 10 percent off or $3 off on chase because you didn’t use your chase card. The only way for this to occur is to make 2 separate $30 purchases, one $30 purchase on wells Fargo, and one $30 purchase on chase to get the full $7.50 cash back. That’s not stacking because you had to spend $30 twice. Stacking is being able to get the $7.50 on one, not 2, $30 purchase.
As mentioned in my original reply, Cardlytics runs the backend for Chase Offers, BankAmeriDeals, My Wells Fargo Deals, etc. That means it’s possible to have this offer on a Wells Fargo card that also has the 15% cashback offer on grocery and restaurant spending, thereby being able to stack the two deals with one purchase on a Wells Fargo card.
Ak ok, that’s a pretty good deal then. Do you travel on Southwest? I sell vouchers for 10 percent off.
