Tips & Ideas
If you know you’ll definitely be shopping from Saks after Christmas, this deal could be worth doing. There are a couple of important things to note though.
First, the $20 or $50 cards are promo cards which expire rather than being regular gift cards. That means they can’t be resold in the conventional way unless the buyer specifically knows they’re buying a promo card.
This also won’t trigger the Saks benefit on personal Amex Platinum cards. This offer is only valid on eGift card purchases rather than physical gift card purchases, with eGift card purchases being processed by Buyatab. Seeing as the purchase shows up as Buyatab, you won’t get the $50 statement credit.
