Tips & Ideas
This is a pretty nice offer seeing as it’s a bonus 2.5x points per dollar when spending exactly $1,000 on top of what you’d already be earning for the standard spend. What’s also nice is that the authorized user isn’t the one that actually has to spend the $1,000 – provided you add an authorized user, you can complete the spend on your own card which could be helpful.
This is presumably a targeted offer; I received it on my Citi Premier card, but other Citi cards are likely being targeted too. With Citi Premier cards now earning 3x at grocery stores, that effectively means you’d be earning 5.5x on $1,000 of spend.
