This works out to be a 16.67% discount on $60 worth of Uber gift cards which is a great deal, especially because you’ll earn Speedy Rewards on the purchase. Speedway isn’t running any bonus point promotions on gift cards right now, so you’ll earn 20 points per dollar as the standard merchandise rate. That means you’ll earn 5,000 points when buying five $50 Uber gift cards.

The $10 Uber gift cards aren’t obtained in-store. Instead, you text or email the gift card number(s) from the $50 card(s) to Speedway and they’ll then send you back the code for the $10 card. That’s not an ideal situation seeing as Uber gift cards only have one code, so it might mean any employee with access to the email or phone number at Speedway could potentially access those codes. I’m assuming it’s all automated, but I’ve no idea if it’s all encrypted so no one can access that info.

Remember to pay with a card that earns more at gas stations. Right now, many cards are offering bonus points; that includes 3x on the Chase Sapphire Preferred, 5x on the Chase Sapphire Reserve and 10x on Marriott cards with both Chase and Amex.
