This is an awesome deal seeing as it’s free stuff if you can spend exactly $100. In theory, you can purchase Xbox gift cards to trigger this Amex Offer. However, there’s a specific exclusion for gift card purchases, so it might be that the Amex Rewards Abuse Team will be keeping an eye on how this offer is used and will claw back statement credits for gift card purchases.
This offer only seems to be available on personal Platinum cards, but not the co-branded versions (e.g. Schwab).
