It’s been fairly quiet so far this year on Visa gift card deals at Staples and Office Depot, so it’s good to see this offer return. The $200 cards usually have a $6.95 activation fee, so with this offer you’ll just pay $200. If you have a Chase Ink Plus or Ink Cash card, you’ll earn 1,000 Ultimate Rewards / $10 cashback for each one you buy.
Alternatively, there are Chase Offers/BankAmeriDeals for Staples, along with an Amex Offer that could also make this a profitable deal. There’s also now the new Staples Chase Offer on business cards. Hopefully Office Depot will end up running one of their unadvertised deals next week too.
This has come at just the right time; I’m in Louisiana at the moment and they don’t have a single Staples store in the state. We’ll be leaving next week though, so I should be able to stock up on a few of these at Staples stores as we drive through Texas.
Does this deal work in Canada?
I imagine it’s US-only, but you can check the weekly ad for your local store in case they’re running it in Canada too.
