Tips & Ideas

Considering there was a recently-expired Staples Amex Offer that gave 10% back on up to $500 of spend, this is a less rewarding deal, even though it represents higher percentage savings of up to 25%.

Still, $10 back or 1,000 Membership Rewards is better than nothing, especially seeing Staples will no doubt run Visa and Mastercard gift card promotions in the next 2.5 months before the Amex Offer expires. If nothing else, you could buy a $40 Amazon gift card to lock in the 25% savings.

One of the terms excludes bulk gift card purchases – buying gift cards online or in-store aren’t classed as bulk gift card purchases, so they’ll still trigger the Amex Offer.
