Tips & Ideas

The terms state that gift cards are excluded and that it’s only valid on room rate and room charges. However, if you were to visit the front desk at a Grand Hyatt and bought a $300 physical gift card, that should trigger the Amex Offer, meaning you can lock in the 20% discount.

Don’t buy a digital Hyatt gift card from the front desk though as those are processed by Buyatab and so won’t trigger the statement credit.
